Grandmother: Goa Police has detained a man for sexually assaulting a female co-passenger on a flight from Delhi to Goa. This incident happened on Tuesday in an Air India flight. The victim woman lodged a police complaint against the accused after the plane landed at the Goa International Airport in Dabolim, South Goa, on Tuesday.
Police took action in this case and arrested a 23-year-old man. Giving information about the incident on Wednesday, police officials said that according to the FIR lodged by the woman, the alleged incident took place in an Air India flight between 11 am and 1:20 pm on Tuesday.

Was doing obscene acts covered with blanket
The 28-year-old victim, a resident of Janakpuri, New Delhi, had boarded a flight to Goa on Tuesday. The woman told the police that during the flight, the man sitting next to her in the plane covered her with a blanket and allegedly started doing obscene acts with her. According to the complaint lodged, during this time the accused had deliberately kept the blanket open towards the victim.

The accused is a resident of Haryana arrested
When the plane landed at the Goa International Airport in Dabolim in South Goa on Tuesday, the woman was the first to go and lodge a police complaint against the accused. A senior police officer said that the accused person has been arrested. He has been identified as Jitendra, 23 years old, resident of Panipat, Haryana. Police said the accused has been booked under sections 75 (sexual harassment) and 79 (acts intended to outrage the modesty of a woman, including insults, objectionable gestures or objects, and invasion of privacy) of the Indian Justice Code. Case has been registered.
