The C3 Aircross scored only 33.01% for adult occupant protection, while it scored 11.37% for child occupant protection. The vehicle has scored 49.57% in pedestrian safety. Apart from this, the vehicle has got 35% marks under Safety Assist System.
The unit tested by Latin NCAP is manufactured in Brazil and is sold in Latin American countries and the Caribbean.
C3 Aircross is also sold in India. In the Indian market, it gets front and curtain airbags, ABS (anti-lock braking system), EBD, ESP (electronic stability program), hill hold, three point seat belt, ISOFIX child anchorage, seat belt reminder, high speed alert system and reverse parking. Safety features like sensors are provided as standard. Apart from this, TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) and rear view camera are also available in other variants.
