Mango Lassi recipe

Ingredients:

  • Ripe mangoes: 2 medium-sized
  • Yoghurt (curd): 1 cup
  • Milk: 1/2 cup (optional for adjusting consistency) (adjust to taste)
  • Cardamom powder: 1/4 teaspoon (optional)
  • Ice cubes: 5-6
  • Chopped nuts: 1 tablespoon (optional, for garnish)
  • Saffron strands: a pinch

Steps to make at home:

  1. Peel and chop the mangoes into small pieces without seeds.
  2. Now take the mangoes and add them in a blender to mix.
  3. Once the pulp is ready and smooth, add yoghurt and milk.
  4. Also, add sugar or honey and blend well.
  5. Add cardamom powder, if you wish and ice cubes for a chilled drink.
  6. Pour lassi into a glass, top with nuts and saffron, and serve.
