Telecom's AH rule will change from January 1, Jio, Airtel, BSNL, Vi will be directly affected!

Telecom new rules: Changes are made in telecom rules from time to time by the government. Some rules have been included in the Telecom Act, which all states have been asked to follow. This was named the Right of Way (ROW) rule. Every state was asked to adopt it. Apart from this, various states were also given exemption in fees.

According to an ET report, the new rule is going to come into effect from January 1. This will encourage installation of optical fiber and telecom towers. Telecom operators and infrastructure providers are also going to get a lot of help from this. In this matter, Department of Telecommunications Secretary Neeraj Mittal has written a letter to the secretaries of all the states. He said that everyone should ensure this by 30th November. After this, the new rules of RoW portal will come into effect from January 1.

In this context, Department of Telecommunications Secretary Neeraj Mittal said, 'The new rule should be implemented from January 2025. The current RoW rule should be stopped here. That means now the new rule will come into effect. After the new rule, states will be given more power so that they can explain the matter to the authority themselves.
