Jaunpur District Sugarcane Officer Mahendra Kumar has informed that as per the guidelines issued by the State Commissioner, Sugarcane and Sugar, sugarcane slips will be sent to sugarcane farmers for the crushing season 2024-25 only through SMS. Will be sent in the form of slips to their registered mobile phones.

Therefore, there is an appeal to the farmer brothers to check their mobile number registered on Smart Sugarcane Farmer (SGK). If the number is wrong then get the correct mobile number updated through your sugarcane supervisor.

Giving detailed information in this regard, the District Sugarcane Officer said that for the supply of sugarcane to the farmers, their mobile phones are not in the network area, S.M. S. Inbox full, mobile not recharged, mobile switched off, D.N.D. In case of activation and call barring, SMS will be sent. The message of the slip gets automatically canceled after 02 hours due to which farmers are not able to get the information about their slip.

Therefore, there is an appeal to the farmer brothers that to solve this technical problem, the farmers should stay in their mobile network area, keep the mobile recharged, do not choose the call barred option, keep the inbox of their mobile empty, charge the mobile and always keep it in working condition. And D.N.D. Do not activate the service which will result in SMS sent by the server. They can get it on their mobile in real time.

This system of issuing slips is completely transparent. In this system, SMS will be sent to the mobile numbers of the farmers. By sending the slip, the farmer will receive the slip immediately and due to timely receipt of the slip, along with the supply of fresh sugarcane, the farmer will also be able to avoid the loss due to drought of sugarcane.
