OLA Electric will soon launch a new electric motorcycle



Ola Electric The much-awaited electric motorcycle is going to be launched soon. This information has been given by Ola CEO Bhavish Aggarwal himself. Aggarwal shared updates from his visit to Ola's manufacturing facility on social media platform X. It also includes a future factory, where motorcycles will be manufactured. The company is preparing for commercial battery production. This announcement comes at a time when Ola is facing a lot of scrutiny regarding its after sales service.

There is a war going on on social media right now

Comedian Kunal Kamra was vocal about the company's customer service issues a few days ago, sharing complaints from dissatisfied customers and criticizing Ola's response to the delay in repairs. Kamra also shared a deepfake video mocking Agarwal's way of handling customer complaints, drawing attention to Ola's service challenges.

Aggarwal accused Kamra of defaming Ola and challenged him to spend a day at the service centre. This conversation made a lot of headlines on social media and many users took Kamra's side. Kamra continued to post customer complaints and mock Agarwal for accepting the challenge, further highlighting the service problems.

Registration of company vehicles in October

Ola electric vehicle registrations grew 74 percent year-on-year to 41,605 units in October. The company sold more than 50,000 units in October 2024. Registration numbers are as per vehicle data. The company said it has launched a drive to double the number of its company-owned service centers to 1,000 by December 2024. Additionally, there are also plans to engage 10,000 partners in sales and service by the end of 2025 under the Network Partner Programme.
