Jasprit Bumrah, who is captaining Team India in the absence of Rohit Sharma in the Perth Test, has put Australia on the backfoot with his lethal bowling on the first day. Bumrah took 4 wickets for 17 runs in 10 overs. Australia's top order collapsed in front of the deadly bowling of Yorker King.

On the basis of his brilliant bowling on the first day of Perth Test, Jasprit Bumrah has left behind the great fast bowler Glenn McGrath. Actually, Jasprit Bumrah has become the best bowling average bowler who has taken more than 100 wickets since 2000 till now i.e. in the last 24 years. His average has become 20.3. He is taking one wicket every 20.3 balls. Glenn McGrath's average was 20.8 and he has now lagged behind Bumrah.

India won the toss and decided to bat first. India had scored 150 runs with the help of Nitish Reddy's 41 runs, Rishabh Pant's 37 runs and KL Rahul's 26 runs.
