Mumbai Indians have also included Hardik Pandya in the retention list ahead of the auction to be held on 24 and 25 November in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. After retention, Hardik Pandya became the number-1 all-rounder in ICC T20I. This year itself, BCCI had made it mandatory for all the major players to play in domestic cricket. After which all the cricketers started giving importance to domestic cricket.
This rule of BCCI started benefiting domestic cricketers as well as international cricketers. BCCI also did this so that he could remain connected with the game. After the return of Hardik Pandya to the team, the team has started looking strong. Now it has to be seen whether both the brothers together can make the team win the trophy or not.
