Rekha Jhunjhunwala, India’s third-richest woman with a net worth of $8 billion (Rs 66,000 crore) according to Forbes, rose to prominence after inheriting the extensive investment portfolio of her late husband, Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, in 2022.

Rekha Jhunjhunwala recently invested ₹118 crore to acquire most of the units in a Mumbai building to preserve the uninterrupted Arabian Sea view from her Malabar Hill residence, RARE Villa. This move was made in light of a redevelopment project in Walkeshwar, led by Shapoorji Pallonji, which aimed to expand residential spaces and offer homeowners a 50% increase in carpet area.
