Mahayuti parties called a meeting of MLAs; After taking opinion, Devendra Fadnavis, Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar will go to Delhi and talk to BJP leadership for the post of CM, Bjp shiv sena of Eknath shinde ncp of ajit pawar calls meeting of mla s for Mahayuti Govt In Maharashtra

Mumbai After registering a landslide victory in the Maharashtra Assembly elections, BJP, Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena and Ajit Pawar's NCP have intensified their activities to form a new government. All three parties involved in the grand alliance have called their winning MLAs to Mumbai. BJP, Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena and Ajit Pawar's NCP are going to hold their legislature party meetings separately. According to the information, after the meeting of legislative parties, BJP's Devendra Fadnavis, Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar will go to Delhi and sit with the BJP leadership there and discuss in detail the name of the new CM and the outline of the government.

Devendra Fadnavis has made it clear that the leaders of BJP, Shiv Sena and NCP will collectively take the decision about the new CM. However, it is believed that the BJP which has performed best in the grand alliance will be the next CM of Maharashtra. If there is unanimity among the three parties on BJP's CM, then Devendra Fadnavis will once again become the CM of the state. Devendra Fadnavis was made Deputy CM by the BJP leadership in the Eknath Shinde government. However, Devendra Fadnavis had said during government formation that he did not want to take any post in the Maharashtra government. If BJP makes Eknath Shinde the CM this time too, then BJP can hand over a bigger role to Devendra Fadnavis at the Centre.

PM Narendra Modi spoke to Eknath Shinde, Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar after Mahayuti's landslide victory in Maharashtra. He had addressed the BJP workers and leaders gathered at the BJP headquarters after the election results were announced on Saturday. During his address, PM Modi had described Devendra Fadnavis as his 'best friend'. Mahayuti has captured 234 seats in Maharashtra. Among these, BJP has 124 MLAs. At the same time, Shiv Sena and NCP have also performed well. Ajit Pawar's NCP defeated 29 candidates of his uncle Sharad Pawar's NCP. Whereas, Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena has defeated 36 candidates of Uddhav Thackeray's Shiv Sena-UBT.
