The new car will be 100 kg lighter
The current Maruti Suzuki Alto weighs 680 kg and the company is going to reduce its weight by about 100 kg. After this the weight of this economical hatchback will become 580 kg. With this much weight, this car will be equal to the Suzulight car sold in 1970. Its biggest advantage is going to be its mileage. Suzuki Japan offers a mild hybrid engine with the cars sold there which gives a mileage of 25 to 28 kilometers per liter. It is believed that its more advanced version will be launched in India.

the price will be lower than before
Suzuki can launch the new generation Alto at a price of 1 million yen i.e. Rs 5.46 lakh in Indian currency. A 10 kilowatt electric motor can be provided with the new engine, which will contribute 30 percent to the total power of the car. This makes it clear that the 48-volt mild hybrid system will be lighter and will further improve the performance of the new generation Alto. No official information has been received about this yet, but it has been learned that the mileage of the 10th generation Alto will be more than 30 kilometers per liter.
