In a glaring example of courage, a punjab woman from the city of Amritsar bravely wards off three burglars who tried to break into her home. A report detailing this episode has gone viral and seen how swiftly she reacted.

The video opens showing the thieves climbing the perimeter wall and moving toward the house with the intention of forcing their way in. However, the punjab woman, who happened to be home with her little girl, was decisive. She saw them and fast shut the main door- locked it both at the top and bottom-along with securing their first attempt at entering through that main door.
She refused to give in to fear and pulled a couch in front of the door to bar the entrance even more. Her combination of being composed and urgent was correlated with strong cries for help to wake up the neighbors and passersby. In response to the robbers’ great efforts in forcing their entry, she remained unwavering.

The CCTV footage captures her standing tough, warding off the intruders and her children and home with great determination. While at the end of the video, she continues to cry for help as she kept warding off the intruders.
This is an incident so powerful, reminding of the strength that women possess even in extreme danger. The bravery with which the woman stood has struck people’s hearts on social media, instilling admiration and respect for her fearlessness during her defense of her family.
