New Delhi, November 24 (IANS). Bihar BJP President and Revenue and Land Reforms Minister Dilip Jaiswal attended the special screening of the film 'The Sabarmati Report' at a cinema hall in Patna on Sunday. He praised the team of the film.
After watching the film, Bihar BJP President praised the team of the film for its powerful portrayal of true events and also urged every Indian to watch it. The BJP leader said, “This film is completely based on the Supreme Court's decision when the horrific incident took place, in which around 31 persons were punished.”
He said, “The crime was horrific, a train was burnt and innocent people lost their lives. It is sad that such mentalities still exist in our society. No religion or caste is inherently bad, but A negative mindset can give rise to such heinous crimes. The aim of these elements is to disrupt the harmony of our society.
The BJP leader further said, “Every Indian should watch this film to understand the truth and confront those who are trying to create tension in the society.” He congratulated the entire team of 'The Sabarmati Report'.
He said, “The filmmakers have fulfilled their responsibility by bringing out the reality for the people of this country.” The political drama 'The Sabarmati Report', based on the Godhra incident that took place on the morning of February 27, 2002, will hit the theaters on November 15, 2024.
