Jasprit Bumrah is leading the Indian side due to the absence of Rohit and it will be confirmed that Rohit will take the official charge in the second test match against Australia.

Rohit’s absence didn’t cost the Indian team as much as KL Rahul used the opportunity and score a great half-century in the second innings and made a historic 200-run partnership with Yashasvi Jaiswal. Jaiswal scored a marathon innings of 161 runs in the second innings. Earlier, Indian bowlers bowled out Aussies in just 104 runs.

Rohit return will give a headache to Gautam Gambhir as he has to find a way to adjust Rahul in the middle order again while he scores runs at the top order.
