Stone pelting outside Jama Masjid of Sambhal as court commissioner survey is going on.

This uproar took place about an hour after the Court Commissioner started the survey of Sambhal's Jama Masjid on Sunday morning. Here, due to the survey by the Court Commissioner, DM and SP of Sambhal were also on the spot. DM of Sambhal has said that the survey work in Jama Masjid has been completed. He also said that strict action will be taken against the miscreants who pelt stones.

The special thing about the stone pelting outside Sambhal's Jama Masjid was that despite repeated appeals to the mosque, the miscreants started pelting stones. Sambhal's Jama Masjid had been surveyed earlier also by the Court Commissioner. Even then some people tried to create ruckus, but the police strictly stopped them from doing so. The Court Commissioner has to complete the survey of Jama Masjid of Sambhal and submit his report to the local court by 29th November. Invasive survey is not being conducted in Jama Masjid of Sambhal. The Court Commissioner's team is only taking photos and videos inside the mosque. On the basis of which the report will be filed.

The Hindu side claims that in place of Jama Masjid in Sambhal, there used to be Shri Harihar Temple. The Hindu side claims that after demolishing the Sri Harihar temple, the Mughal emperor Babar built the Jama Masjid. The Hindu side believes that the Kalki incarnation of Lord Vishnu is to be born in the Sri Harihar temple itself. On this issue, the Hindu side had filed a petition in the local court of Sambhal and appealed for a court commissioner survey of Jama Masjid. The local court had ordered a survey from the court commissioner on the same day. After which the Court Commissioner went to the spot and conducted a survey in the evening itself.
