Suddenly mourning spread in the family who had gone for picnic, doctor died due to accident, teenager missing

A tragic accident took place in Singrauli district of Madhya Pradesh. Here a doctor died due to drowning in the Gopad river, while a 13-year-old girl is reported missing. The whole matter is of Deurda Ghat in Langhadol police station area, where three doctors and two officers of NCL were having a picnic with their families. The police took the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem.

The family had gone for a picnic

According to media reports, this incident took place in Gopad river under the limits of Langhadol police station, about 60 kilometers from the district headquarters, where three doctors had gone for a picnic with their families. Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Shiv Kumar Verma said that three doctors and two officers of Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL) had gone to Deurda Ghat for a picnic with their families.

The officer said that the daughter of former NCL doctor Praveen Munda went into deep water and started drowning. Seeing this, his father and two other doctors Harish Singh and DJ Bora tried to save him. He said that they all started drowning and people nearby saved DJ Bora and Praveen Munda. Verma said that Dr. Harish Singh drowned.

Police investigating missing girl

Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Shiv Kumar Verma further said that later the body of Dr. Harish Singh came out and started floating. After this the body was taken out of the water and sent for post-mortem. At the same time, the girl is still missing and the search for her is going on. Will be recovered soon also.
