9Pay partners with MSB to promote cross-border payments

Both parties commit to leveraging their respective strengths to establish a payment system that prioritizes safety, speed, and efficiency. The cooperation will focus on enhancing services for global payment providers, remittances, and merchants. Business customers are expected to benefit from reduced costs, faster transfer times, simplified procedures, and increased frequency of transactions.

The partnership aligns with the rapid digitalization of the economy, where cross-border payment solutions play a vital role. This collaboration aims to support international business operations in Vietnam, contributing to the digital transformation of the banking and finance sector.

Under the agreement, 9Pay and MSB will jointly develop payment solutions tailored to global service providers, remittance services, and merchants. This initiative supports the promotion of formal, secure, and legal cross-border business transactions in Vietnam.

9Pay, licensed by the State Bank of Vietnam, has established itself as a reliable payment intermediary over six years of operations. The company offers various payment services, including e-wallets, payment gateways, collection and disbursement services and a QR code payment device, Loa TingTing, designed for small merchants and business households.

MSB, guided by its mission of being “more than a Bank,” continues to lead in digitalizing financial services. The partnership with 9Pay is expected to create a comprehensive international payment ecosystem, addressing the needs of global businesses operating in Vietnam.
