Mogadishu: Two boats sank off the coast of Madagascar. In which 24 people died. The local administration gave information about the accident. The administration said that most of those who lost their lives were citizens of Somalia.

Somalia's Foreign Ministry said efforts were underway to ensure the safe return of the survivors. A total of 70 people were aboard both the boats. A senior government official told local media that the people were rescued by fishermen.
