Instagram has announced a new update for its users. After this update, you can now change your Instagram feed yourself. In simple words, all the content you are viewing on your Instagram feed will be reset and you will see all the new content on your feed based on the new search history. Instagram has given information about a new feature through its latest blog post. According to a blog post, the photo and video sharing platform is currently testing a feature. Through this feature, users can completely refresh their Instagram algorithm by resetting it. If you're tired of your old Instagram suggestions, or seeing the same type of content suggested, the same reels and posts on your wall, then this new feature is for you.
After choosing this feature called Reset Suggested Content, Instagram will introduce a new algorithm based on your search and viewing history. This new content will refresh on Reels, Explore and Feed. However, as mentioned earlier, this feature is still in the testing phase. However, the company may soon roll out this feature globally.
How will Instagram's new reset suggested content feature work?
1. First of all open Instagram in your phone.
2. Now go to the three dot menu option and go to Settings & Activity tab.
3. Here you will see a new Reset suggested content option under Suggested content.
4. Go to Reset suggested content option and press Next button.
5. Later you have to tap on Reset suggested content. Now your Instagram algorithm will completely change and you will start getting new content suggestions.
