Dil-Luminati Tour
The Pune show is part of Diljit’s India leg which kicked off with a grand opening in Delhi. The tour has already covered cities like Jaipur, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, and Lucknow, with upcoming stops in Kolkata, Bengaluru, Indore, Chandigarh, and Guwahati. Mumbai fans can also rejoice as the singer recently added the city to his itinerary.
But the Dil-Luminati Tour hasn’t been without its share of controversies. Before his Hyderabad concert, Diljit received a notice from the Telangana government cautioning him against performing songs that promote alcohol, drugs, or violence. The notice also prohibited the use of children in his shows and highlighted concerns over loud sounds and flashing lights.

Diljit didn’t hold back in addressing the issue. During his Ahmedabad performance, he openly criticized the notice, arguing that if the government is so concerned, it should impose a nationwide ban on alcohol altogether. This wasn’t the first time the singer-actor has hit back at critics. At his Lucknow concert, he took a dig at those accusing him of glorifying alcohol in his songs, pointing out that films depicting alcohol consumption should face similar scrutiny.
