The most expensive player in this year's auction was Rishabh Pant, on whom Lucknow Super Kings spent Rs 27 crore. This deal also made him the most expensive player in IPL history. Apart from them, bids of more than Rs 20 crore were also made on Shreyas Iyer and Venkatesh Iyer. Today is the second day of the auction.

A total of 577 players' names have been included in the IPL auction. At present only 84 names have appeared on the auction table. There can be a maximum of 25 players in a team in IPL. The number of foreign players in this can be up to 8. After the first day of auction, Gujarat Titans bought maximum 14 players. Now they need 11 more players. There can be 5 foreign players in it. Whereas Mumbai Indians and RCB need 16-16 players.
