IPL Auction: Shardul, Prithvi and Rahane did not find buyers in IPL 2025, RCB bought Krunal Pandya.

IPL Auction: Today is the second day of the mega auction of players for IPL 2025. On the first day, it rained heavily on Indian players. In this, Rishabh Pant was sold at the most expensive price. He was bought by Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) for Rs 27 crore.

After Pant, the biggest bid was on IPL-winning captain Shreyas Iyer, who was bought by Punjab Kings (PBKS) for Rs 26.75 crore. Punjab took maximum 10 players on the first day and spent Rs 88 crore. Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have the highest purse of Rs 30.65 crore for shopping on the second day. RCB has 16 slots vacant.

Shardul Thakur did not find buyers
At the same time, players like Shardul Thakur, Rahane and Prithvi Shaw did not find buyers on the second day. Let us tell you that Indian all-rounder Shardul Thakur was not sold in the first try. His base price was Rs 2 crore.

RCB bought Krunal Pandya
Spin all-rounder Krunal Pandya has been bought by RCB for Rs 5.75 crore. Rajasthan showed interest but RCB made the final bid. He was earlier in Lucknow Super Giants.
