Looking at the three-day box office collection figures, it seems that the audience is not excited to watch Abhishek's film. However, people who have seen this film are also appreciating it. People have also called it the best film of Abhishek's career.

The film 'I Want to Talk' is performing disappointingly at the box office. The figures of 'I Want to Talk' have come out on the third day of its release i.e. first Sunday. The film 'I Want to Talk' was not promoted much. Also, it was not discussed much because the film is for a specific audience. Most of this dialogue is in English. This is not a commercial film. The film was released on fewer screens. Talking about the film's earnings, according to Sacknilk's data, 'I Want to Talk' collected Rs 25 lakh on the first day of its release and saw a slight increase on Saturday and Sunday. The film earned Rs 55 lakh on Saturday. The same 'I Want to Talk' collected Rs 50 lakh on the third day of its release i.e. Sunday. The total collection of the film so far has reached Rs 1.30 crore.
'I Want to Talk' is facing competition from Vikrant Massey's 'The Sabarmati Report' and 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' at the box office. Both the films are earning well. 'I Want to Talk' did not earn much in the opening weekend, but the makers are hopeful that the reviews and audience appreciation will boost the film's earnings.
