Japan funded PFAS blood testing: Japan begins funded PFAS blood testing

According to reports, people started arriving at the testing center located in the town from 8:30 am local time to take blood samples.
The initiative comes after the amount of PFAS was found to be 28 times the national interim target level in water at a local treatment plant supplying water to about 1,000 people last October.
The tests are available to residents aged two and above and workers in the affected water supply area, with about 790 individuals registered as of Monday. According to reports, blood sampling will continue till December 8.
