The deceased have been identified as Amit Singh (38), resident of Bichhwaan, Mainpuri, Ajit Kumar (35), resident of Emadpur Hiraman, Farrukhabad, and their cousin Nitin (30). Amit has a security agency in Gurugram, while Ajit was an operations executive in the same agency. Nitin used to live with Ajit and drive his car for Ola. These three were also good friends.

The bridge was broken in the flood

The bridge was constructed at a cost of Rs 42 crore and was commissioned in April 2023. However, the access road to the bridge was washed away in the floods in September, due to which the bridge is now incomplete.
