Vaibhav Suryavanshi Becomes Youngest Player Signed in IPL History
The 13-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi was signed by Rajasthan Royals for INR 1.10 crore during the IPL 2025 mega auction.
The Bihar batter has shocked the cricketing world by storm as he joined Rajasthan for the IPL 2025 season. There was a bidding war between Rajasthan and Delhi for the player.
Suryavanshi has already made history with his extraordinary achievements on the field. In the 2023-24 Ranji Trophy season, he made his debut becoming the youngest player in the tournament’s history.

He has broke the records of cricketing legends like Yuvraj Singh, Sachin Tendulkar who made their debut at the age of 15 years.
He has solidfied his reputation during the Youth Test series against Australia where he smashed 104 runs in 62 balls.
He became the youngest centurion in the history of competitive crickete and also set the record for the fastest century by an Indian at the youth level.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi stands second fastest at this level, just behind England’s Moeen Ali who achieved the feat in 56 balls. He become the fourt youngest Indian to make his debut in a recorede FC class match at the age of 12 years and 284 days in the Ranji Trophy 2023-24 against Mumbai.
