Surrounded by American allegations, Adani faces disgrace in India too, Telangana rejects donation of Rs 100 crore
Hyderabad: Telangana government has refused to accept Adani Group's offer of donation of Rs 100 crore. This donation was being given by Adani Group for Young India Skill University. State Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has given this information by holding a press conference on Monday. Telangana CM said that his government has taken this decision due to the current controversy of Adani Group. Apart from this, he also said that taking donations can harm the image of the state government and my own.
Chief Minister Reddy further said that the government has sent a letter to Adani Group on Sunday itself. In it, Adani Group has been requested not to transfer Rs 100 crore to the university. Many companies have given funds to the university, but the Telangana government has not yet taken a single rupee into its account from any group.

Adani Group termed all the allegations as baseless
According to the report of news agency Reuters, arrest warrant has also been issued against Gautam Adani and Sagar. The United States Attorney's Office said that Adani paid or was planning to pay bribes of $ 265 million (about Rs 2200 crore) to Indian officials to obtain contracts related to solar energy in India. The entire matter is related to Adani Green Energy Limited and another firm. Adani Group has termed all the allegations as baseless.
Let us tell you that earlier on November 21, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi had held a press conference on the allegations of corruption against Gautam Adani.
