Since then, many types of news are being circulated on social media about AR Rahman. The actor's name has been linked with Mohini Dey, the guitarist in his band. Now Mohini has issued a statement and given a befitting reply to the trolls.

Mohini is like a father to me

Breaking her silence on the news of link up with AR Rahman, Mohini said- 'A lot of rumors are spreading, so I want to make it clear to all of you that I consider him as my role model. I consider myself very fortunate that I got the opportunity to work with him in many songs. I respect AR Rahman a lot. I am much younger than him and he is like my father. I respect him and worked in his band for about eight and a half years. Five years ago I came to America and joined other associations. I also have my band today.

Rahman's ex-wife's statement came

Let us tell you, a day ago Rahman's ex-wife Saira had released an audio statement. In this voice note, she said, 'I request YouTubers and Tamil media not to say anything bad about him (AR Rahman). Due to my health, I had to come from Chennai. This is not possible due to his busy schedule in Chennai. I trust him with my life. I love him so much and he also loves me so much. I request you to stop making false allegations against him. Let us tell you, AR Rahman has taken legal action against those who spread news with Mohini Dey.
