Central Government approves PAN 2.0 and One Nation One Membership – ..
The Union Cabinet has taken many major decisions in its meeting on Monday. In this meeting, PAN 2.0 was approved with a provision of Rs 2750 crore for the Innovation Mission. Along with this, permission has also been given to implement One Nation and One Subscription. Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that the biggest benefit of One Nation One Subscription will be to the youth and students.
One Nation One subscription is estimated to cost Rs 6,000 crore
He said that research requires high quality publications. This is very expensive. PM has changed it in a new form. All universities will share their resources in One Nation One Subscription. The government will bring all the world famous journals. Their allowance will be collected and made available in all the educational institutions of the country. It is estimated to cost around Rs 6,000 crore.
Atal Innovation Mission 2.0 implemented
Ashwini Vaishnav said that the Union Cabinet has approved Atal Innovation Mission 2.0 at a cost of Rs 2750 crore. Atal Innovation Mission was launched to bring innovation and entrepreneurship among the youth in India. We found that local languages were not included in the first edition of Atal Innovation Mission. Therefore we have implemented Atal Innovation Mission 2.0. Under this, 30 such innovation centers will be opened which will work in the local language.
Big decision taken for farmers
Along with this, the Union Cabinet has approved the National Mission on Natural Farming at a cost of Rs 2,481 crore. Its aim is to motivate one crore farmers for natural and fertilizer free farming. The scheme will improve soil health and reduce costs while creating an environment for sustainable agriculture.
