Famous South Korean actress and star of popular web series Squid Games Jung Ho Yeon and actor Lee Dong Hui have split.
Jung Ho Yeon’s agency, Searoom Entertainment, has confirmed that the two actors have parted ways amicably, but will remain friends.
Jung Ho Yeon and Lee Dong Hui admitted their relationship in 2016 and both supported each other during their artistic endeavors.
It should be noted that Jung Ho Yean rose to international fame through the Netflix series ‘Squid Game’, while Lee Dong Hui also excelled in various dramas and web series, such as ‘Casino’. They also appeared on several variety shows, where they spoke openly about their relationship.
During a TV show in August 2024, Lee Dong Hui talked about his new girlfriend and proudly said that Sibiak, the lead actress of ‘Squid Game’, is his girlfriend and best friend. This statement became the focus of fans’ attention after it was aired, but now it has been formally announced that his ex-girlfriend Jung Ho yeon has parted ways with him.
