Ingredients required to make Lauki Paratha

Bottle gourd

wheat flour

How to make Lauki Paratha

To make bottle gourd paratha, first knead the dough and mix some salt in it. Leave the dough to set well. Now wash the bottle gourd and grate it. In a pan, add 1 spoon of milk, some cumin, finely chopped green chillies, 1 pinch of turmeric and bottle gourd and cover it. The bottle gourd has to be fried lightly.

Now add some garam masala and green coriander to the bottle gourd. Let it cool. You can increase or decrease the spices in the stuffing as per your taste. Keep in mind that the gourd has to be cooked till the water dries up. Now apply light oil to the dough, set it and break the dough and make it slightly bigger. Place 1-2 spoons of bottle gourd stuffing in the middle and roll it gently like a paratha.

If you have trouble making paratha or the stuffing starts coming out, then a good way to do this is to roll 2 thin rotis. Place the stuffing in the middle and close the roti by pressing it from the edge.

Use 1-2 rolling pin to expand the prepared paratha and give it a proper shape. After this, put the paratha on the tawa and cook it well from both the sides. Delicious bottle gourd paratha is ready, serve it with any chutney or sauce. You will not believe that such a tasty and healthy paratha can be made from bottle gourd. Make sure to make this paratha and feed it to children.
