Raipur 26 November (Hist.). Chhattisgarh Governor Ramen Deka today visited the Chhattisgarh Pavilion in the 43rd India International Trade Fair organized at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi on Tuesday and took information about the goods and products displayed.
According to the information received from the Public Relations Department, the Governor talked to the craftsmen and entrepreneurs present in the pavilion and encouraged them. The Governor said that the trade fair is an excellent platform to take the identity of Chhattisgarh to the national and international level. He assured to make every possible effort to promote the art and local handicrafts of the state. He said that a glimpse of the art, culture and development of Chhattisgarh can be seen in this pavilion.
The Chhattisgarh Pavilion showcases the state’s cultural heritage, handicrafts, and industrial development. Bellmetal crafts, Kosa silk and organic products have been displayed by the craftsmen and artists of Chhattisgarh. The state’s new industrial plans and investment possibilities were also showcased in the pavilion. During this, Chhattisgarh’s Investment Commissioner Ritu Sain posted in New Delhi and other officials were present.
