New Delhi. PM Narendra Modi on Constitution Day: Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended a program of the Supreme Court on the occasion of 75th Constitution Day. On this occasion, PM Modi said, 'Today is an important day for democracy, but it is also the day of maximum attack on democracy in Mumbai. The campaign to fulfill the wishes and dreams of the victims as stated by the framers of the Constitution continues with time.
The Constitution is the guide for our present and future. The Constitution has shown the right path in every difficulty. The Constitution has fulfilled every need and expectation. That is why Constitution Day was celebrated for the first time in Jammu and Kashmir today. PM Modi further says, 'The path to India's future lies in the fulfillment of big dreams and resolutions. Accounts of more than 53 crore poor and underprivileged were opened for economic and social equality for every citizen to lead a dignified life. More than 10 crore families got gas connections.
Even after 75 years of independence, only three crore houses in the country had access to tap water, but in a few years we provided tap water to 12 crore houses. Our Constitution contains the thoughts of many great men like Lord Ram, Sita, Hanuman, Buddha, Mahavir, Guru Gobind Singh. This gives us human values.
The makers of the Constitution knew…
The framers of our Constitution knew that India's aspirations and India's dreams would eventually reach new heights. They knew that after independent India and the needs of the citizens of India would change, the challenges would change. Therefore he made his Constitution not just a book of laws, but a living, continuously flowing stream.
Our Constitution is the guide for our present and future. Today every citizen has only one goal, to make a developed India. During this, Modi also said that I have tried to stay within the limits of the work given to me by the Constitution.
