Actually, the government clerk arrived in Farrukhabad for his son's marriage. The wedding procession reached the girl's house with much fanfare. The groom's side was welcomed with garlands. After which other wedding rituals started.

Refused to marry groom with salary of Rs 1.25 lakh
During this time someone asked the groom what he does. As soon as the girl's side asked the groom what he does, he replied that he is a civil engineer. When this was told to the bride, she got furious. She said that I was told that the boy does a government job because I should not marry a boy with a private job. The bride immediately refused to marry. First there was a huge ruckus between the bride and groom's side and then everyone together started convincing the bride. But the bride was not ready to accept.
The groom kept showing the salary slip
The groom even showed the girl his salary slip and told that he earns Rs 1.25 lakh every month. Despite this the bride refused to marry. After which the bride and groom's side talked together and whatever expenses were incurred for the wedding were divided in half. This incident is being discussed not only in the area but in the entire state and country that due to lack of government job, the bride returned the groom home with the wedding procession without marrying him.
