New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is all set to release the notification for the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research National Eligibility Test (CSIR-NET) December 2024 session soon. The sources suggest that the CSIR UGC NET 2024 December session will be released this week. Aspirants must note that there is no official announcement yet regarding the NTA CSIR NET December 2024 notification release date and time. Once released, candidates can access the CSIR NET notification on the official website at csirnet.nta.ac.in.

The Agency has not announced the CSIR UGC NET Dec 2024 exam dates. The exam will be held twice a year in online mode. The exam authority will be releasing the registration process and other details soon the official website.

CSIR NET eligibility criteria

• Age limit: All the candidates aiming for the JRF must note that the upper age limit is 30 years. There is no upper age limit for Lecturership. The age relaxation is provided to candidates belonging to SC, ST, PwD categories.
• Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess the required educational qualification with 55 per cent marks for General and OBC categories. It is 50 per cent marks for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates. One must have at least one qualification – MSc/ BS/ BTech/ BPharma/ MBBS/ BE/ Integrated BS-MS.
• Candidates must be an Indian citizen to register for the CSIR NET exam.
