The court said 'when they win the EVMs are good and when they lose they tamper with the EVAs.

On this occasion, the petitioners also drew the court's attention to the doubts raised by Chandrababu Naidu and YS Jagan Mohan Reddy regarding EVMs. The court, hearing the petitioners, said that when Chandrababu Naidu or Reddy loses, they say that EVMs have been tampered. When they win, they don't say anything. How should we look at this? What happens is that when you win, the EVMs are not tampered with. But when you lose, EVMs are tampered with. Why don't you want to be isolated from the rest of the world? the judge asked the petitioners.

Through the petition, the Supreme Court was also requested to issue instructions to the Central Election Commission. The petitioner demanded that the Supreme Court direct the Central Election Commission to impose a five-year ban on any candidate found guilty of distributing money, liquor or other material to voters during the election campaign.
