Eknath Shinde demands deputy CM post for his son
Actually, like the previous government, this time also one CM and two Deputy CMs will be made in the state. In fact, instead of becoming Deputy CM himself, Shinde has demanded the post of Deputy CM for his son Shrikant Shinde.

Talking about Shrikant Shinde, Eknath Shinde's son is MP from Kalyan Lok Sabha seat. Shrikant Shinde is a doctor by profession. Shrikant Shinde became the youngest Marathi MP by winning the 16th Lok Sabha elections for the first time. In the 2024 Lok Sabha elections also, Shrikant Shinde won the election from Kalyan seat. Apart from this, Shinde has also demanded Home Ministry in the Maharashtra cabinet in the Mahayuti government. Shinde has clearly said that if his condition is not accepted then Shiv Sena will not support the new government.
