OLA Gig and S1 Z Series: OLA launches affordable E Scooter, value for money according to features and range

OLA Gig and S1 Z Series : Shares of Ola Electric Mobility rose 12.85% to Rs 82.91 after the company launched its most affordable electric scooters, the S1 Z and Gig range. This series has been specially designed for commercial use. Its price starts from Rs 39,000. Common customers can also book it now. This scooter is also the cheapest electric scooter in Ola's portfolio. Buying electric scooters also appears to be worth the money in terms of features and range.

removable battery
There are two models available in the Gig range: the standard Gig and the Gig+. Both scooters have removable batteries, making them suitable for gig workers and those living in rural or semi-urban areas with limited charging infrastructure.

The S1 Z range includes the S1 Z and S1 Z+, which are designed for personal use. Both models offer a range of features, including removable batteries, fast charging, and advanced connectivity.

delivery
Bookings for both the Gig and S1 Z series begin today at Rs 499. The company plans to start deliveries of the GigE and S1 Z series in April 2025 and May 2025, respectively. Its FutureFactory in Tamil Nadu is a major production facility, supported by global R&D efforts, and the Battery Innovation Center in Bengaluru.
