Honda Activa E and QC1: Honda unveiled Activa E and QC1 for the Indian market, know design and features

Honda Activa E and QC1: Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has entered the growing electric vehicle market in India. The manufacturer has unveiled two new EV models. The much-awaited electric version of the Activa, called 'Activa E' and QC1. The models will be available for booking from January 2025, and deliveries will begin from February 2025. Both models will be manufactured indigenously at Honda's Narasapura plant in Karnataka.

The Activa E uses two Honda Mobile Power Pack e:swappable batteries as power sources, while the QC1 has a fixed battery. Both the Activa E and QC1 will be manufactured in India. Interestingly, with these two new models, Honda is aiming to reach its goal of achieving carbon neutrality across all its products and corporate activities by 2050, and all its motorcycle products during the 2040s. ) wants to achieve carbon neutrality.

The Honda Activa E is based on the same body and frame as the Activa and competes with other electric commuter models in the same segment with 110 cc internal combustion engine models.

With the Activa E, Honda has tried to incorporate the design language of the Activa which is the highest selling Honda model in India. The company claims that it sells more than 2.5 million Activas annually in India. In terms of design, the Honda Activa E gets LED combination light & indicators for the front and rear. Overall, the electric scooter looks attractive.

The company claims that the electric scooter can cover a distance of 102 kilometers on a single charge. Meanwhile, in terms of features, it has Honda RoadSync Duo, which allows users to make phone calls and use the navigation function by connecting a smartphone via Bluetooth.
