'Central government should stop issuing visas to Bangladeshis', this big BJP leader demanded from the center


Kolkata. Senior West Bengal BJP leader Subhendu Adhikari on Wednesday demanded Indian authorities to immediately stop issuing visas to Bangladeshis. He says that this ban should be imposed until the caretaker government of Bangladesh releases Hindu leader Chinmoy Krishna Das Brahmachari.

Demand for temporary ban on import-export also

Subhendu Adhikari, while talking to the media after submitting the memorandum to the Bangladesh Deputy High Commission, also demanded a temporary ban on import and export between the two countries. He said business activities should be suspended until concrete steps are taken to stop atrocities on minorities in Bangladesh.

“Chinmoy Das did nothing wrong”

Shubhendu Adhikari said, “Atrocities against Hindus have been going on in Bangladesh for a long time. This is not acceptable. Chinmoy Krishna Das has not done any wrong. He has been arrested on false charges. There is a need for his immediate release.”

Arrested on charges of treason

Bangladesh Samhita Sanatani Jagran Jot spokesperson Chinmoy Krishna Das was arrested at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka on Monday. He was going to Chittagong to attend a rally. On Tuesday, a Chittagong court rejected his bail plea in the treason case and sent him to jail.

BJP took out rally, submitted memorandum

In protest against this incident, Subhendu Adhikari along with seven BJP MLAs took out a rally from Vindra Sadan area of ​​Kolkata to the Deputy High Commission of Bangladesh. After this he submitted a memorandum demanding the release of Chinmay Das.

Atrocities on Hindu minorities in Bangladesh

Subhendu Adhikari also appealed to the Central Government to intervene on the issue of atrocities against Hindu minorities in Bangladesh. He said that India should take this matter seriously and put pressure so that the Bangladesh government can ensure the safety of minorities.
