NATO again provoked Ukraine, General Mark Rutte said – need to move forward against Russia
Athens: General Mark Rutte, the new Secretary-General of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), said on Tuesday that the alliance needs to “go further” in supporting Ukraine in the fight against Russian aggression. Rutte accused Russia of dangerously escalating the conflict by sending thousands of troops into North Korea.
Rutte, who is on a visit to Greece, said North Korea was using Korean weapons and troops, Iranian drones and Russia using Chinese dual-use goods for its defense industry to pursue its illegal war in Ukraine.

He said this is a dangerous expansion of the war and a challenge to global peace and security. Rutte met with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis here and thanked him for Greek support to Ukraine, which includes arms and ammunition as well as training for F-16 pilots and technicians.
Rutte is the Prime Minister of Netherlands. He took over as NATO chief last month. “Our support for Ukraine has kept it in the fight, but we need to do more to change the direction of the conflict,” Rutte said. Europe's NATO members have been discussing plans to boost defense investment for months due to the ongoing war in Ukraine and uncertainty over the incoming US administration following President-elect Donald Trump's election victory. Rutte arrived in Athens on Monday after meeting with Trump in Florida and with Turkish leaders in Ankara. He also held talks with Greek Foreign Minister George Gerapatritis and Defense Minister Nicos Dendias.
It is noteworthy that NATO is also the reason for the war between Russia and Ukraine. Actually it is believed that America has influence in NATO. Whereas in America and Russia the figure is thirty-six. In such a situation, Russia's neighboring country Ukraine wanted to take membership of NATO, but Russia was worried about its security. Russia believed that if Ukraine becomes a member of NATO, then with the help of NATO the American army will become Russia's neighbor.
