Now Prithvi Shaw's former coach Jwala Singh told why Prithvi Shaw has not been selected in IPL. In a podcast, Jwala Singh told that, Prithvi stayed with me for three years, when he came to me, he had not even played the Round-16 match, I worked very hard on him. Then next year he got a chance to play Under-19 Cooch Behar Trophy. In which he played many brilliant innings. When he played the Under-19 World Cup, I was very excited and happy for him. Since then I haven't found him.

How did Shaw get away from good performance?

Jwala Singh further said that, to remain on top in international cricket, players have to improve their game all the time. Even Sachin Tendulkar constantly refined his game, improved his game, worked on his fitness and mental strength. So I think a player gets derailed when he gets away from the process.

Ignored the advice of former veterans

When Prithvi Shaw entered international cricket, he was compared to Sachin Tendulkar. But this player has also been accused of ignoring the advice of big legends like Sachin. According to a PTI report, the former selector said, “Prithvi has been in Delhi Capitals. It was at Delhi Capitals that he got a chance to interact with Rahul Dravid, who was also their Under-19 Indian coach, Ricky Ponting and Sourav Ganguly.
