Honda Activa Electric | Honda has finally launched the new Activa Electric. The scooter has been launched as Activa E. This is the company's first electric scooter in the Indian market. The scooter also comes standard with Sync Duo. Although, the company has not yet disclosed the price of the scooter, but it has been told that the price of this scooter will be announced in the next few days.
Booking has started from today.
According to reports, the company has started booking this scooter from today. The delivery of this scooter will start from February 2025. It will be sold first in Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru.
The scooter will have swappable battery
Talking about the features of Activa E, it will have a 1.5kWh swappable dual battery. Both the batteries will offer a range of 102 Km on full charge. These batteries are called Honda Mobile Power Pack. Which are developed and maintained by Honda Power Pack Energy India. The company says that it has already opened battery swapping stations in Bengaluru and Delhi. It has also claimed that it will soon open a swapping station in Mumbai. This battery powers a 6KW fixed magnet synchronous electric motor. Which generates peak torque of 22Nm. It includes three riding modes, Econ, Standard and Sport. The top speed of this scooter is 80 Km/h.
7 inch TFT screen
Now talking about the features of Activa E, it has connectivity with Honda RoadSync Duo smartphone application, through which you can operate many features. It has a 7 inch TFT screen. Supports screen navigation. This will be controlled with the help of a toggle switch located on the handlebar. It also has day and night mode. The main features of Honda's H-Smart include Smart Find, Smart Safe, Smart Unlock and Smart Start.
5 color options will also be available in it.
As for the hardware, it comes with 12-inch alloy wheels, which are suspended with telescopic forks and dual springs. So braking can be controlled by a disc-drum combination. The company has launched this scooter in 5 color options Pearl Shallow Blue, Pearl Misty White, Pearl Serenity Blue, Matte Foggy Silver Metallic and Pearl Igneous Black. In the Indian market, this new electric scooter will compete with models of companies like Ola Electric, TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak, Ather Energy.
