ISL: East Bengal FC to face NorthEast United FC on Friday

Kolkata, 28 November (Hindustan Reporter). East Bengal FC, looking for their first win in the Indian Super League (ISL) 2024-25 season, face in-form NorthEast United FC on Friday. This match will be played at Yuva Bharti Krirangan, Kolkata from 7:30 pm.

NorthEast United FC have been in great form this season. With four wins and three draws, it is in third place with 15 points from nine matches. The team is five points behind top-placed Bengaluru FC (20). East Bengal FC have one point from seven matches with six losses and one draw and are at the bottom of the points table. The team is looking for its first win of the season.

Before the match, East Bengal FC head coach Oscar Bruzon said in a statement issued by ISL that we will try to play our best game and win the match.

Northeast United FC head coach Juan Pedro Benali said every game is a different story. We have to create big chances to score and at the same time make it equally difficult for them to do so. That's our aim, because we know we can score and that's a very important part (of our gameplay).
