Parnell took 3 wickets in his first match of the season. 33-year-old Van Parnell made his IPL debut for the first time since 2014.

There was an uproar over drugs at a rave party

Rahul and Parnell said in their defense that they had no knowledge about the rave party. The party he had gone to attend was a birthday party.
