According to Sinchewthe 62-year-old actress’ old interview reappeared as she was recently spotted traveling in Japan with a man in his 30s. Some sources claim that he is her new boyfriend, and that they have been together for a few months, though she has remained silent about the relationship.
In the old interview, Kwan said she had loved many people and dated “all kinds of men,” including those both older and younger than her. She admitted that she considered love to be her top priority. If she felt affection for someone, she would devote all her time and energy to that person, she said.
“When I’m in love, no one can find me,” she stated. “It’s only when I’m not dating anyone that people can find me.”
Kwan has been married twice to wealthy businessmen. Her first husband was businessman Wong Kwok Sing, who was 16 years her senior and the owner of a financial company. At the time they married, Kwan was just 20.
According to OnKwan’s father strongly opposed their relationship upon finding out, even threatening to commit suicide to stop it. He believed Wong had a flirtatious nature and was notorious for his romantic escapades in the entertainment industry. However, Kwan was determined to marry at the age of 20, after knowing Wong for only two months.
Their marriage ended after six months. According to HK01, Wong had an affair while still married to Kwan. After their divorce, he publicly insulted her, saying: “Any girl on the street I can pick up is better than her.”
Kwan began appearing alongside Hong Kong real estate tycoon and billionaire Joseph Lau in 1993. Dubbed the “most charming man in Hong Kong” by the media at the time, Lau reportedly gifted the actress a villa, diamonds, and expensive cars.

“Perhaps the older I get, the higher my expectations,” she said. “The man who lives with me must not only be compatible with my personality but also someone I admire and can learn from.”
Kwan has chosen not to have children. She said she has no regrets about the decision, explaining: “The world is too polluted and complicated. I’m fine living alone.”
In recent years, the actress has been very active on the social media platform Douyin, the Chinese version of TikTok.
