WPL 2025: Top 5 cheapest, but great buys

Nandini Kashyap (Delhi Capitals) Price Rs 10 lakh: This team had bid up to Rs 1.5 crore on Kamalini but took Nandini at this cheaper price. Nandini, number 3 in the list of highest runs in the Senior Women's T20 Trophy, scored 247 runs in 7 innings at a strike rate of 125.38. Recently also shone in Uttarakhand Premier League. She is a wicketkeeper-batsman and a good friend of Raghavi Bisht of Uttarakhand. Nandini has been included in the Indian team for the 3rd T20 series against West Indies in Navi Mumbai.

Deandra Dottin (Gujarat Giants) Price: 1.7 crores: Diandra returns to Gujarat Giants. This West Indies all-rounder was also included in the first season but due to delay in medical clearance, she was out of the tournament. In this team, the overseas line-up became stronger which already included Beth Mooney, Laura Woolworth and Phoebe Lichfield. Raghavi and Nandini are such friends from Uttarakhand that together they got the first call-up together from the state junior team to the senior team, to the senior team India and were also sold together in the WPL auction. Raghavi is a right-arm medium-fast bowler.

Sarah Bryce (Delhi Capitals) Price Rs 10 lakh: Sara is the wicketkeeper of Scotland and with her arrival the team will now be able to play with 4 foreign players. The team also bought young wicketkeeper-batsman Nandini Kashyap. She is the sister of international cricketer Katherine Bryce and has played 5 ODIs and 58 T20 Internationals.

Alana King (UPW) Price Rs 30 lakh: This leg-spinning all-rounder from Australia completed the list of foreign players of the team and further strengthened the spin attack. He may not get a place in the playing eleven initially but he is the backup for the workload management of the team's number 1 spinner Sophie Ecclestone. Alyssa Healy of Australia is the captain of this team. Has played 32 ODIs and 22 T20 Internationals.
