According to Pinvilla’s report, director Sandeep Reddy Vanga and producer Bhushan Kumar are in talks with actress Mrunal Thakur to play the role of female lead in the highly-anticipated Spirit, starring Prabhas. As per the source quoted by the publication, the makers are looking for “best and most talented actors” for their ambitious project.
Kareena and Saif in Spirit?
The insider also revealed to the entertainment portal that while they are in talks with Mrunal, the makers have also approached the power couple of Bollywood, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan. According to the report, Kareena and Saif have been approached to essay negative roles in the film. As per the source, the money discussions are also underway but the paperwork are yet to be done.
Earlier, another source close to the film’s production told News18 that Spirit will redefine cop-action genre in Indian cinema. Calling it a “story like never before”, the insider shared that the film has a lot of elements in the film and every character will be seen having a purpose. Meanwhile, the pre-production work is going on in full swing. The film is also said to introduce Prabhas in a never-seen-before avatar.
