Skoda cars will become costlier by 3% from January 2025

Delhi Delhi: Skoda India on Tuesday announced that it will revise the prices of four of its models. According to a company statement, the company will increase the prices of its Slavia, Kushaq, Superb and Kodiaq by 3 percent from January 2025. The company further said that the price increase is aimed at compensating rising input and operating costs and ensuring sustainable operations in line with the industry.

Skoda Kylak price unaffected:

According to a company statement, prices of the Skoda Kylak will remain unaffected by this adjustment. The company further said that this will remain unchanged until it reaches 33,333 bookings.

Skoda Kylak Price:

Skoda Kylac price starts at Rs 7.98 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base variant. The company offers it in four variants.

Skoda Kylak Design:

The design of the Skoda Kylak is similar to its elder brother, the Kushaq. It comes with a sporty exterior and rides on 16-inch alloy wheels. Talking about boot space, the company claims that its boot space is the largest in this segment.

Features of Skoda Kylak:

The feature list of Skoda Kylac includes sunroof, digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control and more. However, it also has front-ventilated seats, 11.2-inch instrument cluster and six airbags.

Skoda Kylak Engine Specifications:

The Skoda Kylac is powered by a 1.0 liter inline three-cylinder TSI petrol engine that produces 115 BHP and 170 Nm of torque, mated to a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic torque converter gearbox.

Recent price hikes by other automakers:

Stellantis owners Jeep and Citroen have also announced price hikes for their models. The company announced a 3 percent price revision from January 2025. Other automakers like Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors and Kia India also announced price revisions of their models in January 2025.
