Getting into the business empire of Sun Pharma, Vidhi is currently the Vice President and Head of Consumer Healthcare, Nutrition, and India Distribution in Sun Pharma. She is also a non-executive director at Sun Pharma Advanced Research Company (SPARC), which a is a Sun Pharma’s subsidiary focused on clinical-stage biopharmaceutical products.
Vidhi, with her Economics degree from the prestigious Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, is all set to step into her father’s shoes, as per The Economic Times. Her father, Dilip Shanghvi, considered the richest healthcare tycoon in India, reportedly amasses a whopping $29.2 billion wealth as of December 15, 2024, according to Forbes.

Vidhi is married to Vivek Salgaocar, a prominent figure in Goa’s business circle thanks to his parents, Shiv and Ranjana Salgaocar. It’s interesting how Vidhi is linked to the illustrious Ambani family through the marriage. You see, one of the Ambani brothers – Mukesh Ambani and Anil Ambani – has a sister, Deepti. Deepti is the wife of Dattaraj Salgaocar, brother to Shiv Salgaocar – Vivek’s father.
